On Tuesday 22nd of February all the Year 6s went to Werstpac Stadium and when we went in we got a free Vortext and some people got them signed half way throw the day.We got to do about 5 different sports they were Turbo touch, Soccer, AFL,Netball and Tennis.

On tuesday the 22nd of Febuary all the yr6s and three yr5s went to the Westpac Stadium and got a ASB vortext and got to go on the grass it was wet. there was heaps of sport they were karate,turbo touch,soccer,AFL,golf,hockey,rugby,rugby league,fencing,ultimate frisbee,tennis,inline hockey,badtimen,netball,criket,gym sports but we onley had to do five they were netball,AFL,tennis,turbo touch,and soccer they are really fun and good to play.The first game we played was afl we lern't about passing the ball kicking the ball then we had a compitation I won of course. Then we played netball we lern't how to pass propaly.

Destiny
Hi my name is destiny and I am ten years old.
I went to the Westpac stadium in Wellington with some of the other year six children and some year five boys yesterday. We went for a sports festival, the sports were turbo touch and turbo touch is when you run around with a rugby ball and try not to get touched by the other team and you have to have 10 people in a team. And there was netball and I think that Lucy all ready told you about netball. there was AFL and that is American football and we got taught how to do the drop punt and that is when you drop the rugby ball and you punt the ball to your partner. After that we did football which is American for soccer. And we also did tennis and that was hard because we had to do a challenge that we had to hit the tennis ball to our partner with out stopping put we had to do it up to the letter Z but if the ball hit the ground then we had to start from A again. then after we did that we played a game witch I don't know why that is called but it was fun. then we went back to the stadium chairs and got all of our equipment then we went to the bus and went back to school. On friday our school went to the town pools for our school swimming sports. The swimming routines we did were dolphin dive, free style, back stroke and breath stroke I did widths of the town pool witch is one length of our school pool some people did lengths of the town that is two lengths of our school pool and we get roods for who comes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 1st is an orange rood 2nd is an black rood 3rd is an yellow rood and 4th is an green rood. I came first in free style, second in back stroke, forth in breth stroke and forth in dolphin dive some of the length people did butterfly. and we have house groups that the roods go in but your roods go in your house group every one has one. The house group names are waipoua, Ruamahanga, waiohine and last but not least waingawa these are maori words. Every house has a diffrent colour waipoua is blue.

Hi I'm Brad and I'm ten and i went to the westpac stadium yesterday with the year six's and some of the year fives. There was thirty of us in a team, first we did AFL and we learnt how to do a drop punt then our next activity was netball we did some skills and then we did a game with four teams the game was first team to five at shouting in the hoops wins. Then we moved on to turbo touch we learnt how to play touch and we did a game and we did some dives and some shills. We next did football with some of the Phoenix and we did ball rush with a ball. Christian got a Phoenix jacket for saying thank you. last was tennis we did some fun games and compitations

My weekend consisted of going to Kaelyn's , watching saving Sarah Cain , watching the secrets of Jonathan Sperry.I am also taking Niamh [ex-solway pupil , and still my friend] to ODC {One Day Center} on Tuesday and picking her up and Niamh might stay an hourafter every Tuesday. we did today , it's the first time since last year I've seen Niamh.On Friday it's Solway Swimming Sports and I'm in All the races , Freestyle , Dolphin dive , Backstroke , Breaststroke , but I'm only doing widths.It will be held at Masterton Rereation Center{Obviously}.
Hello my Name is Caitlin and we went to blenheim we went on the inter islander and then we finally we came to Pict on then to my grans house and had cookies with milk then we went outside to play on her tramp and then we had lunch at whites bay.the photo on the left is me and the photo on the right is katia she is my friend we go swimming together it is fun.
